Jason Smith Hypnosis (“I,” “me”) runs jasonsmithhypnosis.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what I do with it.
What I collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, topic, and message. I use these to reply to you.
- Email list: your email address, if you join my mailing list. Mailchimp stores the list and records when emails are opened and which links are clicked. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Blog subscriptions: your email address, if you subscribe to new posts through WordPress.com. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Site statistics: WordPress.com and Jetpack record visits, pages viewed, referring sites, browser and device type, and general location. I see this data in summary form and use it to learn which pages help people.
- Google Analytics: Google Analytics records how visitors find and use this site, such as pages viewed, time on the site, and general location. It uses cookies to tell new visitors from returning ones. I use these reports to improve the site. I have turned off the setting that shares this data with Google to improve its own products. You can block Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
- Cookies: WordPress.com and Google Analytics place cookies to run the site, count visits, and remember subscription choices. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies.
What I don’t collect
The free self-checks and the macro calculator run in your browser. Your answers never leave your device. I don’t see them, store them, or receive them.
Third-party services
Some features run through outside companies. Each has its own privacy policy.
- WordPress.com and Jetpack, which host this site, run the contact form, and count visits
- Google Analytics, for site traffic reports
- Mailchimp, for my email list
- Calendly, for booking calls
- Zoom, for online sessions
- YouTube and SoundCloud, for embedded audio and video. These services set their own cookies when you play a recording.
How I use your information
I use your information to answer your questions, schedule sessions, and send emails you asked for. I don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. I share it only when the law requires me to.
Client sessions
Information you share during sessions is confidential and handled as described in my client consent form. This policy covers the website only.
Children
This site is for adults. Family EQ workshops involving children require a parent or guardian to register and attend.
Your choices
Email me at jason@jasonsmithhypnosis.com to see, correct, or delete the information I hold about you.
Changes to this policy
I’ll post any changes on this page with a new date.
