For Peace

Whenever you feel a disturbance, whether it is discomfort in a part of your body or a feeling of distress, you can simply repeat this phrase to install and access a state of peacefulness:

“Blue skies, still waters, colorful flowers”

And as you repeat this phrase, close your eyes and imagine blue skies, still waters, and colorful flowers.

And as you call these images to mind, breathe deeply and begin to notice what feelings these images bring to mind. Perhaps a memory of a place where you felt the best you’ve ever been, or a relaxing vacation where you were free to unwind and just be you.

Use this phrase as often as you need, a daily dose of medicine, or occasionally as needed to calm a restless mind and to experience true peace.
